These knives feature beautiful black and crimson PakkaWood handles, made from a combination of resin and hardwood. The handles are comfortable and have a full tang so they feel balanced and are easy to use. The blades on these Shun Reserve knives are super sharp and have a beautiful Damascus appearance thanks to their construction. They feature a SG-2 powdered steel core for longer edge life and 32 layers of stainless steel on the exterior for protection against damage. Shun Reserve cutlery is made in Japan and includes a lifetime warranty from Shun with normal use and proper care.
