"we were never big into cooking, but when we moved recently, we decided it would be a good investment to have quality cookware. a professional chef friend of ours recommended all clad. the price on all clads were a bit more than what we had anticipated on spending, but the lifetime warranty soothed our concerns. we've been cooking a lot more since the purchase because we're excited to use the new cookware! the pots and pans retain heat very well and evenly, making it easier to cook. few items to note: * these are much heavier than i had anticipated, so when i'm washing or handling the pans, it requires both hands (this is probably not a concern for men - my fiance has no problem with it) * we noticed that the pots and pans stain very easily after use, so we had to buy bar keeper's friend cleaning products to clean the pots and pans (very inexpensive and works brilliantly)."
