The wok heats up to 425 degrees F, so you can use if for much more than stir frying
Use setting 1 to 4 for sauces that need slow cooking, preparing casseroles, soups and overall warming
Use settings 5 to 9 for pasta, rice, curries, browning nuts or frying
Settings 10-13 are designed for vegetable stir frying
The 14 or high sear setting is designed for stir frying meat and seafood or for searing meats
Durable non-stick surface makes for eaasy clean up too. Pan and lid are both dishwasher safe, top rack only

Most electric woks or pans don't have this range of temperatures or powerful temperature control similar to the control you get with a gas cooktop. The Breville wok is easy to clean too, both the cooking pan or bowl, and lid are dishwasher safe! You can also adjust the amount of steam that's released into the wok.
