"Fantastic Knife"  
"This knife is a 7 on a scale of 5. As a lifelong knife guy, and now the cook in my retired years, this is the knife I go to. Small and easy to control with good backbone for cutting nearly anything, even frozen meat. The big story is the steel! Don't know their formula, but it is the finest steel I know of. The edge can be made to shave and it does not dull easily. I use it multi times daily."


Bunmei 4 inch Deba Knife

The Deba knife is the Japanese butcher's knife. Intended for working through thick skin, bone, and heavy work, the deba is truly an all-around useful tool in your kitchen. This small deba is unusual, and is very nice for fruits and vegetable work. With a one-sided edge grind and slightly curved cutting face, this knife features all the traditional concepts you've come to expect from Bunmei.
