"Good, Not Great - Capresso Grinder"
"Grinds fantastically ... but a little slower than expected. Takes double the time of the old Proctor-Silex I used prior. It is extremely easy and leaves no mess."

"Capresso Black Burr Grinder"
"We have owned this Capresso grinder for several years and use it several times a day for home use. The grind is very controllable and always consistent. The only minor drawback is that the collection drawer sometimes will move out slightly if not completely inserted. This product is highly recommended."

"Over a year in use and still flawless!"
"I've tried maybe "burr" grinders and this one is top notch. Kitchen Aid and the rest have nothing on this grinder. I've been using it for 14 months now and the grinds are still consistent. I love it!"

"Static Electricity"
"Grinds well, but sends coffee clinging to the container, the counter, my hand! Could get NO resolution on this - Customer Service said that's what it does. It worked well with flavored beans that had an oily finish, but 8 oclock beans were flying all over! Container does tend to vibrate out as well. I thought that buying the metal unit, that has a 3 prong plug would cut down on that static but customer service didn't seem to think so. I now grind my coffee beans in the Vita Mix. EDITOR'S NOTE: Capresso tells us that some static is expected with grinders. They told me that darker beans seem to have/ create more static, and a finer grind will also create more static. It may help you to tap the container before removing it to help the grinds fall out. You can also tap the container a few times before emptying the grinds into the filter."
