The Mino Sharp Plus knife sharpener has a sturdier construction and is larger than the 220 series Shinkansen sharpeners. The 440 series is made for heavier uses. Each sharpening slot has two sharpening wheels pre-set at the factory using the Global knife angle. You can achieve an extremely sharp edge on your knife with this sharpener. The separate slots feature a coarse- and medium-grit wheel for a truly fine edge. Each wheel rotates over a small water reservoir to keep the blade clean and cool while sharpening.
