  • MetroKitchen.com recommends washing your knives by hand; then immediately drying them. Do not let your knives soak in water.
  • Avoid cleaners containing bleach or citrus extracts, as they may stain the surface of your knives.
  • For longer lasting knives, cut on a wooden cutting board. Cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal or glass quickly dulls blades.
  • To maintain a sharper cutting edge, use a sharpening steel, preferably each time after using your knives.
  • It's best to store your Global knife so the edge and your fingers are protected, preferably in a block or in-drawer knife tray.
  • We suggest using a meat cleaver when you need to cut through bone, otherwise you can damage your knife blade.
  • Lifetime warranty from Global with normal use and proper care.

"The best knives ever"  
"The global knives are the best I have ever worked with, they keep their edge very well and are a dream to slice and chop with. I have small hand and the weight and size fit my hand well. Have gifted these knives 3 times and all felt that they were the most comfortable knives to work with."

This Global 9 piece knife block set features a strong selection of utility knives for all-purpose use. The 7-inch Asian chef's knife is a workhorse centerpiece for the collection, with smaller knives for detail work and two long knives for slicing tasks.
