The John Boos Gourmet Block is a combination of great looks and restaurant-quality function. This beautiful John Boos butcher block is easy on your knives thanks to its end-grain construction. This fibrous cutting surface helps keep your knives sharp. You can put your knife block on the lower storage shelf to access your knives quickly and easily. For a sanitary and scratch-resistant block, John Boos made the Gourmet Block from premier hard rock maple. This maple resists deep cuts and gouges. To protect the wood from cracks and warping, this block from John Boos has a special beeswax finish.
