  • Store your Kyocera knife so the edge and your fingers are protected, preferably in a block or in-drawer knife tray.
  • Do not use any Kyocera knife to chop bones. We suggest using a meat cleaver when you need to cut through bone, otherwise you will damage your Kyocera knife blade.

This special edition Kyocera Susan G. Komen 5.5 inch Revolution series pink ceramic santoku knife was developed to help support the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. It features a pink, ergonomically-designed handle and a white ceramic blade. This Kyocera santoku knife keeps its super-sharp edge for ten times longer than any metal knife because it's made from ceramic. It is also impervious to rust and corrosion. Kyocera will donate $5.00 for each pink ceramic knife sold for a maximum of $10,000.
