  • Turn off the coffee machine and remove the plug from the outlet prior to cleaning or any other non-brewing related activity. Do not clean or adjust the machine when it is hot.
  • Never immerse the machine in water or put it under running water.
  • Clean the body of the machine with a damp cloth or sponge
  • We recommend washing carafes by hand with a mild detergent
  • Do not use scouring agents or harsh cleansers on any part of the coffee machine

"what is the warranty on krup coffee kr-km7000 EDITOR'S NOTE: This Krups product is warranted for one year from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. The warranty does not apply to any defect arising from misuse of the product, negligence, failure to follow Krups instructions, use on current or voltage other than that stamped on the product, wear and tear, alteration or repair not authorized by Krups, or used for commercial purposes."

"Krups Coffee Maker with grinder"  
"Very disappointed with this product. I researched and thought this would be a great unit. Purchased in October 2008 have used it maybe 25 times and the unit will no longer heat the water. It's a lemon! EDITOR'S NOTE: Please send the unit back to MetroKitchen. We'll review it with Krups and replace it for you. Thanks!"
