The shape of the Mauviel 3.2 quart copper zabaglione pan is designed to make it easy for you to whip lots of air into this light delicious dessert. This yummy custard contains egg yolks, sugar and usually a sweet wine such as Marsala. It originated in the Piedmont region of Italy. The French call their version a sabayon. The rounded zabaglione pan is all copper, for maximum heat control. This Mauviel zabaglione pan is placed in a pan with barely simmering water so egg yolks stay light and fluffy during the cooking process.
