"Nothing compares to the Scanpan nonstick surface, and I especially like this model of grill because it's flatter than another one with sides about 1" plus or so. This one allows you to use skewers flat on the grill surface.
I made Trader Joe's marinated lamb tips (on skewers) last night--with NO non-stick spray, and the grill markings and carmelization was superb. Cleanup is magical.
I have a Le Creuset circular one which things always stuck to, and which left much non-scrubbable residue. This Scanpan only requires hot water and a brush, and all the burnt stuff disappears. I don't recommend using nonstick sprays. First, you don't need them with this pan, and second, they accumulate residue which burns on and becomes very hard to scrub off. "
