I Love These Ramekins!!!

I own a pair of the All-Clad ramekins that came with the A-C Simply Soup set (it includes the ramekins, a 6 qt. stockpot, an A-C ladle and a large recipe book -- fabulous deal!!). I use these ramekins all the time and they are of the highest quality; I see no difference between the A-C pieces I own made in China versus the ones made in PA. I cook for one so tend to make a full-size recipe, putting left-overs into the ramekins, covering them with parchment paper and then foil, and I put them in the fridge. When I come home from work during the week, I simply heat up the food right in the ramekin and then eat from the ramekin. These pieces are so attractive to look at, of the highest quality, and clean up like new. I couldn't be happier! Quite frankly, if we expect to export our goods to other countries, we have to be willing to sell their goods in the U.S. As long as the goods are of the exact quality made here and companies do not off-shore all jobs just to bring in higher profits for their shareholders, I have no problem.

I would like to purchase these but, they are made in china. I own a 14 peice set of stainless steel pans made here in the U.S.A. and would gladly pay more for American made, by American workers. Also would like to see lids for the ramekins, included to make them more versital. EDITOR's NOTE: For ramekins not made in China, we recommend Staub or Pillivuyt. Both are made in France.

they are convenient to use but I did not realize untill after I purchased them that they are made China. What a disapointment. Please manufacture all allclad products in the U.S. EDITOR'S NOTE: 90% of All-Clad's items are manufactured in the US, in Canonsburg, PA.
