Have used these irons for (8)years in a breakfast restaurant - they last about 3-4 months then we throw them away - they work so much better than the wells waffle bakers that cost $1,000.00 & have to be siliconed - outstanding product for the price.

Everything about the waffle maker works fine except that the waffle is pretty much the thickness of a regular waffle, not a belgian waffle. I noticed on further examiniation that the top cooking plate is not as deep as the bottom which could be the reason why.

I make waffles often, have had many different models. This is the best by far. This will be my third!
