I have used this knife professionally for about four years having bought it used. It stays sharp for a very long time yet is pretty easy to sharpen. the steel is very uniform with no weird hard spots many stainless knives have. The dimpled grip is very safe in use even with damp hands. I no longer use a death grip to hang on and my production has greatly improved. I very highly recommended this knife.

This is the best knife i've ever had in my kitchen. If you've never used a global knife you're missing out,the edge is awesome and the weight and balace are perfect.
