For the best cooking performance, we recommend heating your Scanpan cookware for 1-2 minutes prior to adding food. Use a low to medium heat setting.

We recommend allowing cookware to cool prior to washing, otherwise warping may occur.
To remove charred or burn marks caused by fatty substances, add water to your Scanpan IQ cookware, about 3/4 full. Then bring it to a slow boil using meadium heat. Once the water is boiling, add about a 1/2 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid and simmer on very low heat for 15 minutes. Remove from heat, empty water and let cool. Then clean cookware as you normally do.
PLEASE NOTE: Do not use aerosol sprays, as residue can impact the cookware's non-stick properties and may cause overheating, which will void the lifetime warranty.
Signs of normal usage, such as light scratches and wear, will not affect the cooking performance of the non-stick surface.
