This Shun Sora chef's knife has a VG-10 (super steel) edge that's welded to a stainless steel body, so the expensive VG-10 steel is only used where it's necessary. Each side of the edge is also covered with a layer of stainless steel to protect it from corrosion and other damage. Shun Sora cutlery also features a balanced and comfortable poly handle that feels great in your hand.
