"I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I have a Viking gas range and I never use it anymore! This induction cooker heats instantly and evenly. It has infinitely variable heat control for extremely precise temperature control. Exact Low and simmer settings like these cannot be achieved with gas."

"Great for Condo living"  
"I use this product constantly. I live in a condo with a balcony and don't like to grill food indoors with odors that can linger. I take this cooker out onto the balcony and grill steaks, stir fry, etc. Love it. Pair it with a cast iron wok and you can cook anything outside, and very quickly. Can't say enough good things about the product."

"not all magnetizable cookware works"  
"Really like the induction technology and the dial control of the Viking brand. But a peculiar feature of Viking is that not all Le Creuset enamel cast iron cookware works on this unit, according to other purchasers. I also own a 3 qt stainless steel Emeril saute pan which also won't work on this unit, even though a magnet sticks very strongly to the bottom. Bizarre! I have not heard this complaint with other manufacturers, only Viking. Once you find cookware that are compatible, though, it works great. EDITOR'S NOTE: There is some variance in all induction manufacturers. One way to convert cookware to induction friendly is to use a Mauviel induction disc.
