The first question you may ask is "$50 more than the standard 10", is it worth it?". Most definitely. Especially if you have size XL hands. Even those with normal size mitts will marvel at the ease of cutting with this tool and appreciate the broader surface for scooping up the diced onions. 10" may sound big and daunting but this handles like a dream; no wonder the professional may invest in the 12" heavy. I will not miss my departed 8" and the children can use the 6". This is the knife for me and, I dare say, for anyone who gives it a try.
