The Wusthof Grand Prix II 7 inch hollow edge santoku knife is similar to a chef's knife. This Asian chefs knife is a great multi-purpose knife. It has a very sharp and wide blade. That means you can more easily move or scoop cut foods from your cutting surface.. This cooks knife has a fluted edge so foods don't easily stick to the knife blade. Sharp and forged from a single piece of steel, this santoku knife is guaranteed for life by Wusthof.

The simple design of Wusthof Grand Prix II knives has a slightly curved handle so you can more easily and firmly grip the knife for maximum control when you slice, dice, chop or peel.

  • Forged with high carbon stainless steel to create rust resistance.
  • Comfortable to use due to slightly rounded base of handle. It fits easily into the palm, no matter what size your hand is.
  • Bolster, or metal that separates the blade from the handle, extends to end of blade and provides good balance for easy, non tiring cutting.

  • The full length of the knife is 11 3/4 inches

  • MetroKitchen.com recommends washing your knives by hand; then immediately drying them. Do not let your knives soak in water.
  • Avoid cleaners containing bleach or citrus extracts. They may stain the surface of your knives.
  • Always use a wooden cutting board to preserve blade sharpness. Cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal or glass quickly dulls blades.
  • To maintain a sharper cutting edge, use a sharpening steel, preferably each time after you've used a knife.
  • It's best to store your Wusthof knife so its edge and your fingers are protected, preferably in a block or in-drawer knife tray.
  • We suggest using a meat cleaver when you need to cut through bone, otherwise you can damage your knife blade.
  • Lifetime Wusthof guarantee against material and manufacturing defects, with normal use and proper care.
