Wusthof is a reliable brand, which is one of the many reasons I chose it. I purchased 4 knives, a turning knife, 2 x 8 inch knives and a 9 inch for myself. Two of these knives were gifts - recently our 1st year Apprentice Chef won 'Apprentice of the Year' at cooking school and one was a gift for him (it was a Grand Prix knife, which you can't get in Australia, so even better), and the second was for my Mum for Mother's Day, Mum is not that much of a cook and wusthof are very easy to use and to sharpen. Thank You.
