Shipping Information Free shipping only applies to orders within the 48 United States and APO/FPO boxes. Metrokitchen may choose to use UPS ground, FedEx ground or the United States Postal Service, though most is shipped UPS. Free shipping does not apply to international orders, or orders outside of the 48 states.
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST? Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories have a shipping surcharge of $19.95. Shipping outside the United States We will contact you with your actual shipping cost prior to charging your credit card and shipping your order so you can approve the shipping cost. Please note that shipments from the United States to other countries may involve taxes, import duties, customs-related fees, or other charges beyond our control. You are responsible for paying all of these fees. Please be assured that we do not receive any portion of any fees may be required to pay in connection with import taxes or duties imposed by your government. Please also note that because of the difficulty in verifying credit cards issued outside the United States and Canada, orders with non-US credit cards may require a wire transfer of funds or payment by PayPal. 
HOW QUICKLY WILL YOU SHIP MY ORDER? We want you to have your order as quickly as possible, so our warehouse is fully stocked. Our goal is to send your order from our warehouse to your house the next business day after we receive your order. Depending on when we receive your order, we may even ship it the same day as you place your order! Ground Shipping - Orders are shipped the next business day after they are placed on our website.See our Ground Shipping Map for estimated transit times. (Transit times not guaranteed by FedEx or UPS.) FedEx or UPS Second Day Air - Orders placed before 12:00 Noon EST ship the same business day, and are delivered second business day. Business days are only Monday thru Friday. FedEx or UPS Next Day Air - Orders placed before 12:00 Noon EST ship the same business day, and are delivered next business day by 3:00pm. Business days are only Monday thru Friday. Air Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii may take 2-3 business days. Some rural areas do not have guaranteed delivery times for air shipping. This schedule does not apply to John Boos, Enclume, Alfi, Capresso, Ruffoni or VitaMix products because some of these items may ship directly from the manufacturer.
BACKORDERED ITEMS Some products are out of stock and backordered. In this case, the backordered items will ship as soon as they become available. Your credit card will NOT be charged until the item ships. If an item on your order is on backorder, you will be notified by e-mail within 24 hours. If the backordered item is part of a larger order and a significant part of the order is in stock then we will split the order, ship what we have and backorder the out of stock portion of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping for split orders due to out of stocks or back orders.
HOW SOON WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER? In general, your shipment will usually arrive between two and eight business days after you place your order, depending on where you live. Please refer to the Ground Shipping Map at the bottom of this page for estimated shipping times from our warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia. (Please note that this map does not apply to John Boos, Enclume, Alfi, Capresso, Ruffoni or Vita-Mix products, because some of these items may ship directly from the manufacturer and not the MetroKitchen warehouse.)
