With the All-Clad Copper-Core 2 qt. sauce pan w/ porcelain double boiler insert & lid, you can melt chocolate or gently reheat foods with confidence. This duo features a 2 quart sauce pan made of five layers of metal, including a core, copper layer to generate optimum heat distribution and conductivity. The 1.5 quart insert has a porcelain base to be placed over gently simmering water. You'll gain optimal temperature control of delicate ingredients without the threat of scorching or burning foods. This set comes with one lid that fits both the sauce pan and the insert.

The All-Clad Copper-Core porcelain double boiler insert includes the following items:
  • Exterior pot is a 2 quart All-Clad Copper Core sauce pot
  • Insert is white porcelain with a capacity of 1.5 quarts
  • The porcelain comes with a stainless ring that fits around it. This ring has a handle to make the insert easier and safer to remove from the exterior pot

  • Please note: Minor imperfections and slight color variations are normal in All-Clad cookware and All-Clad cookware sets.
  • For the best cooking performance, we recommend heating the pan for 1-2 minutes prior to adding food. Use a low to medium heat setting.
  • Add salt after water has started to boil, otherwise small white dots or pits can form. Pitting does not interfere with cooking, it just doesn't look good and can be easily avoided.
  • Dishwasher safe. MetroKitchen recommends hand washing your Copper-Core cookware.
  • To remove food residue and stains, use a nylon scrubbing pad and a fine-powdered cleanser, such as All-Clad Cookware Cleaner. Steel wool, scouring pads and bleach-based cleaners not recommended.
  • Overheating can cause blue or brown discoloration. Remove with All-Clad cookware cleaner or other fine-powdered cleaners.
  • We recommend allowing cookware to cool prior to washing, otherwise warping may occur.
