This roaster is well-built and a joy to use. It has proven itself large enough for even the biggest turkeys, the rack is sturdy enough to handle any load and the lifters are simply indispensible. That said, two caveats: The black color of the rack's non-stick coating makes it difficult to see and clean baked-on residue. Like many of All-Clad's larger pieces, this pan cannot be used on induction ranges, precluding deglazing if you're lucky enough to have an induction cooktop (now or in the future). Mauviel makes equally elegant roasters of seven-ply stainless.

I love my roaster! I use it several times each year...1st is for our leg of lamb at Easter, next is corn beef and cabbage for St. Pattys day followed by pork ribs for the 4th of July. Next I kick into high gear with a turkey at Thanksgiving, Christmas wraps it up for the year with a standing rib roast or duck. We have really used it and it still looks new.
