Holiday returns - Items purchased between 11/1/16 and 12/24/16 must be returned no later than 1/15/2017, following the guidelines below. Items purchased from MetroKitchen can be returned or exchanged if they are in new and unused condition within 20 days of receipt. PLEASE NOTE: Sale items are NOT returnable, including items that end in .99, final sale and special extra % off promotions. (Returns on purchases made during the holiday season, from November to December, must made before 1/15/2017). Only items in new and unused condition and in the original, manufacturer package will be accepted for exchange or refund. Items that MetroKitchen considers to be used will not be accepted for returns, even if they have been used only once and then washed.
Sale items that end in .99 are not returnable for any reason.
If your order qualified for free shipping and you want to return an item or items, you will be credited back the cost of the item(s) less a flat $9.95 return shipping fee on all items, except cookware sets. For cookware sets, your will be credited the cost of the item less how much it actually cost MetroKitchen to ship the cookware set(s) to you.
If your item came with a free Gift Card, it will be automatically cancelled. Or, if it is used prior to the return, you will be charged for the full amount of the gift card. If you receive an actual free gift, the gift must also be returned in new, unused condition to receive the full refund, except as noted above on shipping costs.
Please send the item(s) you want to return by a shipping method that is insured and traceable to the address below. Please pack returns, when possible, in their original MetroKitchen outer carton or other sturdy outer carton to ensure returned product arrives in good condition.

Items that are not in new and unused condition and in the original manufacturer package will NOT be accepted for refund or exchange. Sale items that end in .99 are not returnable for any reason. All-Clad items that were purchased using a discount are also not returnable.

Some items from Amoretti Brothers, John Boos, Capresso, Enclume, Mauviel, Emile Henr, Wellness Mats, Amoretti Bros, Dansk, Cristel, Ankarasrum, Riedel & Woll are not stocked at the MetroKitchen warehouse. They are custom-ordered at your request and then shipped directly (“drop ship”) from the manufacturer. These items are clearly indicated on the website. Consequently, for returning a “drop ship” order, you will incur 2 charges. These charges include: the actual cost of shipping the item plus a manufacturer-imposed restocking fee. These fees will be deducted from the credit you receive for returns. Manufacturer restocking fees are charged only on some drop shipped items. Fees for drop shipped items are 25% for: John Boos, Capresso, Enclume, Wellness Mats & Ankarasrum. Restocking fees for Mauviel & Emile Henry are 15%. No restocking fees for Dansk, Cristel, Riedel & Woll.
Please note: the restocking fee applies only to returned drop-shipped items that are sent directly from these manufacturers, not items that are stocked in the MetroKitchen.com warehouse from these same manufacturers.For returns or refusals on drop-shipped items, you must call MetroKitchen at 888-892-9911 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, so we can provide you with the necessary information to return your order. (Please note: a Return Authorization (RA #) is required for drop ship returns. You must contact MetroKitchen for this information prior to any drop ship returns.) NOTE: These charges will be deducted from the credit you receive for returns or refused deliveries.
Please note: Ankarasrum requires its mixers to be returned, in new and unused condition in the original packaging, within 14 days of the order date. Ankarasrum mixers must be returned directly to Ankarasrum at 305 Bell Park Drive, Woodstock, GA 30188 using a trackable method such as Fedex or UPS.
If your order is returned to us due to an address error, an incomplete address or if no one is available to sign for an order above $400, we will be happy to reship your order to the correct address or to a different address. However, MetroKitchen is charged a minimum of $20 for re-shipping by UPS/Fedex. We will pass that charge onto you and charge your credit card for $20 in the event of an address problem resulting in a re-shipment back to MetroKitchen.
MetroKitchen.com ships within 24 business hours or less of receiving an order. If you need to cancel, please call us immediately, as orders received before 2 p.m. EST are generally shipped the same day. Once an order has been shipped, the return policies detailed above apply. Please note, MetroKitchen.com or the brands sold on its site are not responsible for typographical errors.
Have a problem when you first receive your order?
In the unlikely event that your item has defects or damage when you first receive it, we will send you a pre-paid return label to return the item for replacement at our expense if you contact us within five days of receiving your order. All defective and damaged items not claimed within five days will not be exchanged. Item(s) must be in new and unused condition in original packaging to qualify for an exchange. We reserve the right to correct any orders that are damaged during shipping or are defective. Please note: Sale items are not returnable.

Have a warranty claim?
If at any time you have a problem due to a manufacturing defect or otherwise covered by a manufacturer warranty with a product you purchased from us, we will gladly replace the item if allowed by the manufacturer. Please note: sale items that end in .99 are not returnable. Items that must be returned to the manufacturer and NOT to MetroKitchen include these brands: Global knives, Scanpan cookware, Kyocera knives, all Krups products, Viking and any item that came directly from the manufacturer and not MetroKitchen's warehouse. MetroKitchen is not responsible for typographical errors. If a product offered is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition, following the guidelines detailed above.
